Blue Dust is a hand-crafted web site featuring projects, ideas, and information about technology, science, fun and net-related technologies. It is a think tank for like-minded individuals to discuss and explore such projects. (It might also be the first web site to have a 'quit' button!)
Each project here was created without a real-world purpose. To paraphrase Richard Stallman; we've been scratching our own itches!
The Blue Dust site is a project in itself; an attempt to create a self-updating web site, that maintains visually integrity with the minimal user intervention. When a project is completed, a number of files are added into the 'projects' directory. Each project is numbered sequentially, and named thus:

| One paragraph blurb for including on the main 'projects' page. | |
| Redirection file to the project web page. May not be on this server. | |
| A single line with the project name. | |
| Main logo, 160x32 |
Then, whenever a page is requested, the server-side code (using ASP & VBScript) will read this directory and present those projects, formatted into something more interesting that a list of <LI>s!
Secret ProjectsIn addition to those projects listed here, are a number considered 'work in progress'. These are secret, to all but those working on them.
You can access them by typing in the name of the project, and it's group password, on the projects page. The rest of you will either have to either hack the web site, or wait until it's ready!
